Hi everyone,

Hope you are all doing ok, still struggling here and can only manage one day at a time.

Yesterday I found out that Petes tigers had 2 female cubs, they are now 6 weeks old and
have come out to play. It really did make me smile but there were tears as well, when I
spoke to our son Stuart he said at least Dad wont have to be on this side of the fence to
photograph them he is in there with them, he can go where he wants to now, what a lovely
thought.

If anyone is interested in seeing them you can go to www.itv.com/meridian-east and click on
Tiger cubs first steps, there is a lovely report on them on video. Enjoy.

Please could someone let Jean and Mary know, I do miss them and would like to contact them
but dont know how, I am not on facebook and not sure I want to be.

Hope you do look at the tigers they are gorgeous.

Sending lots of love and hugs

Hi Carol,

I've just had a look at the tiger cubs, you are right, they are gorgeous!
It's lovely to think that Pete will be in there, snapping away!
If you want to ask NRAS for my e-mail address and contact me, I can give you Mary and Jean's e-mail addresses, I'm sure they would love to hear from you.

Love and hugs, Doreen xx

Hi Carol,

That video is absolutely gorgeous the tiger cubs are so sweet. I'm sure Pete will be with them too. My daughter loves tigers and would dearly love to work with them. She has a collection of huge cuddly ones she has had for years. Thinking about you often, take care. Love Lorna x ThumpUp

Hi everyone,

So glad that you enjoyed seeing the cubs, yesterday I took our grandson Jack (4) to Port Lympne
to see the cubs, the first time I went without adults, just me and Jack, but I didn't feel alone Pete was
definatly with me, they were absolutly adorable and both Jack and I really enjoyed it. The most beautiful
moment was when Jack said to me, "This is really special nanny isn't it, just you and me, I love you nanny"
I am so lucky to have him and Pete loved all our grandchildren and he would have a huge smile on his face
at what Jack said to me, he always seems to know what to say and when, bless him.

Last night I was so tired but could not get to sleep and all I could think of was my darling Pete and how much
I miss him and I cried and cried for I dont know how long, this morning I feel absolute crap. Sorry.

So glad I did yesterday, just have to get through today now.

Doreen, have asked for your email, thankyou will email when I get it, and Lylie will ask for yours aswell thanks.

Lots of love

Hello Carol,

Oh, what a lovely thing for Jack to say! As a gran myself I know such moments are truly special, and I`m sure Pete would be smiling down on you both.

That`s another step forward you have taken - visiting the tigers without your support network. Sorry you had such a bad night, but just keep taling one day at a time.

Take care,

Kathleen x

Don't ever apologise for telling us you're feeling awful, we understand and we care SO much about you; these weepy days are dreadful, you end up with a blinding headache and feel that you haven't achieved anything........BUT you do need to have a good cry, how else can you get your heart to understand what your head is trying to tell it? Of course you miss Pete, and you always will, but the agonising pain WILL become bearable as time goes on. One day at a time, take care, LOVE from Lylie

Hi Carol

Unfortunately I missed them as I've been away. Hopefully I can catch up on itv player.
It was lovely to read your posts and it was great to read that you had taken that difficult step and got through it. Of course you felt dreadful afterwards, but please feel encouraged by what you have achieved as each little step is a major achievement.

Much love
